ERG Partners has influenced state energy and environmental policy for 17 years, , crafting legislation that expanded the state’s alternative and renewable energy sector, quadrupled funding for conservation programs, and enhanced efforts to clean the state’s waters and Chesapeake Bay. ERG played a major role in development of the state’s alternative fuels programs, and drafted language and lobbied for creation of the state’s Alternative Energy Development and Production Tax Credit Programs. Our experience has included development of ethanol, biodiesel, biomass, solar, wind, traditional oil, and electric generation.
ERG continues to take a leading role in finding policy solutions to safeguard water quality statewide, and has participated in Steering Committee planning for state actions to meet EPA and Chesapeake Bay TMDL requirements.
